Privacy notice
This notice explains how Education 4 All 23 CIC (E4A) collects and uses personal data submitted through this website. [This is a starting template — have a solicitor or data-protection-aware colleague review it before the referral form goes live, since it covers third-party data about vulnerable people.]
Who we are
Education 4 All 23 CIC, company number 14935174, a Community Interest Company based in Coventry. [Add ICO registration number here if E4A is registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner's Office — most organisations processing personal data are required to register.]
What we collect
Depending on which form you use, we may collect: your name, email and phone number; details about a person you're referring to us (their name and contact details, and the programme they're interested in); and the content of any message you send us.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to arrange volunteering or partnership opportunities, and — for referrals — to get in touch with the person referred and register them for the right programme.
Our legal basis
We rely on legitimate interests to respond to general enquiries and work-with-us requests. For referrals, we rely on the referrer confirming the person referred is aware their details are being shared (see the consent checkbox on that form) alongside our legitimate interest in delivering support to newly arrived communities. [Confirm this legal basis wording with a solicitor or DPO before publishing.]
How long we keep it
[Add a retention period — e.g. how long referral, enquiry, and volunteering data is kept before it's deleted.]
Who we share it with
Form submissions are processed by Netlify (our website host) acting as a data processor. We don't sell personal data or share it for marketing. We may share anonymised or aggregate outcome data with funders as part of grant reporting. [Add any other tools E4A uses to store or process this data, e.g. email or a CRM.]
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or ask us to delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it in a portable format. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.
Contact us
[Add a data protection contact — a name or role, if different from the general enquiries address on our Contact page.]
